Captain's log, stardate 100831.1501. The Talisman is currently moving to an alien race that seems intent on conquering and eradicating the Delta Quadrant. We have compiled all information we can gather on these beings. If our previous encounter with this race is any indication then we can expect some heavy resistence once we confront them.

Event's Summary

In late 2385, the USS Talisman arrived in a sector of space that had finally been discovered to belong to the Oo'Tuka. This race had plans of utterly devestating all other life forms within the Delta Quadrant and claiming whatever remained for their own empire. However when the USS Talisman arrived at the location that had been provided by Lieutenant Commander Starsider, the crew discovered that little remained of the Oo'Tuka's main base. Debris and radiation from warp nacelles and cores littered the system in which the command center had been situated. No signs of life could be found anywhere in the system. Little evidence was presented as to who did this except for faint traces that soliton wave particles had been in the area. This suggested that the reclusive aliens using soliton wave travel had been the aggressor in the conflict. With the threat to the Federation seemingly over, the Talisman departed for the nearest friendly starbase for repairs and some shore leave.
