Captain's Log

  • computer begins recording*

Captain's Log, stardate 101130.2200. Thank's to the timely efforts of my crew, I have managed to return home to the Talisman. I still feel a little uncomfortable due to the fact my body hasnt quite re-aligned itself with this time and phase, but It will in a couple days. In the mean time, there is a battle to prepare for.

I have seen what Warfin is attempting to do and what he is after. I wouldn't have this information if it weren't for the couragous efforts of General Triellis and her soldiers off the coalition. They helped me get the information that I needed so that in the event I made it back, I could stop Warfin and keep that future from coming to bear. I realize that this could possibly be constrewd as a violation of the Temporal Prime Directive, but as I was ripped fom my own timeline anyway I believe the mitigating circumstances superceed that dirtective. There is nothing saying that Warfin isnt suppossed to be stopped, and I believe the only reason he succeeded to begin with is because I wasnt there to stop him. It ism y duty and the Duty of the Talisman to ensure a better future for the Federation in the Delta Quadrant.

Event's Summary

In late 2385, The USS Talisman was attempting to track down the presumed killed of the ship's captain Lt. Cmdr. Jackson T. Jayaram. While tracking the Klingon vessel Du'Quh, the ship recieved a priority message from the starship USS Aegis. The Aegis investigating a previously uncharted planet on the other side of the quadrant discovered a Federation issued PADD belonging to Lt. Cmdr. Jayaram. Within the PADD was evidence that stated the captain was alive and displaced in time due to the effect the projectile caused. Dr. Warfin had shot Lt. Cmdr. Jayaram with a projectile containing a power known as "The Omega Sanction". This unknown type of energy was designed to scatter a humanoid across space and time on a molecular level. Due to the fact the projectile hadn't fully penetrated the captain's body, it only displaced him in time while still fully intact. Efforts were immediatley placed underway to bring the captain back home.

Lieutenant Commander Lans Starsider was able to use a method that was previously used to re-stabalize Lieutenant Commander Wolf Sciavo into his proper phase. Given the different parameteres of the situation, several adjustments had to me made from the previous modifications in order for this to work. One of the adjustments was to pull Lt. Cmdr. Jayaram back to re-stabalize him, the bond with his With Dr. Genna Thiemen-Jayaram was used to assist the captain in finding his way back to his correct time. With all of the necessary preperations complete, Lt. Cmdr. Starsider was able to pick up the captain's bio signiture through the infinite quantum realities of the universe and re-materialize him using the ship's transporter system. The procedure was successful, and with Lt. Cmdr. Jayaram's return came the solution to stopping Dr. David Warfin. The Talisman immediatley set a course for a star system lying in the Delta Quadrant's outer most regions to bring the madman's plans to a hault.
