    The Corp of Cadets is comprised of all Cadets currently attending UFS Academy. It has the dual function of management and mobilization. This is done by the Squadron Leaders currently making up the Academy: Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma for SL, Pi for Astraois, Tau for STO, Epsilon for Genesis. Each Squadron Leader will monitor/mentor and help the Cadets progress through the Academy as well as keeping the cadets active.

    The UFS Academy, or UFSA, is the primary training facility for UFS personnel. The time they spend with the Academy is seen by many to be one of the best and most fulfilling experiences UFS has to offer. Once graduated from the Academy, cadets are eligible to be commissioned as officers or enlisted in UFS.
    UFS Academy also offers a wide and ever-growing curriculum of classes and fields of studies for the further education of all officers - from Ensigns to Admirals.

Her mission is to represent Federation interests in the tumultuous reaches of the Delta Quadrant where the Breen Confederacy and the Dominion seek to advance their interests while adversaries of the Federation, including the Gorn, Tholians, Romulan Star Empire, Tzenkethi Coalition and the Kinshaya (the Typhon Pact) serve as antagonists to Federation initiatives and present a complicated, if not unclear, geopolitical, and economic future for UFS command.

    The USS Taylorholic Durant is considered to be the Flagship of the UFS Fleet. We are honoured to have Admiral Mike Calhoun as our former CO and as a current crew member, as well as other luminaries. We are para-RPers and storytellers. Using live, in-the-moment chat, we listen, read, respond, and create a new story as a collective of writers jamming on a theme. We are given a context – a place to begin and then improvise together what happens next, and what happens after that… and where does that take us.
    That sense of being in fellowship with other creative people who understand the overall context and environment while writing a story that is vibrant and alive creates a sense of enjoyment and togetherness. Our goal on Durant is to foster that sense of belonging, to embrace good RP etiquette, and to have tons of fun!

    Starfleet re-established its first Colony in the Gamma Quadrant on Astraios Prime on stardate 110111. SS Astraios is a space-station in high orbit above the planet Astraios Prime, to help with its protection and provide a base for the local fleet. UFS Astraios Colony and SS Astraios are tasked with the mission of ‘broadening horizons’ within the Gamma Quadrant, by exploring strange new worlds and seeking out new civilisations.

    The opportunity for roleplay Missions is enhanced by the ready availability of a wide variety of locations. As well as the space station SS Astraios and on board NPC ships, including our flagship the Galaxy-class USS Neil Armstrong, there are locations on Astraios Prime (both within the Colony’s many Starfleet regions and on the rest of the planet) and more, both on 3rd Rock Grid and other Grids via the Hypergrid.

    In addition to role-play, UFS Astraios hosts a weekly Starfleet Boogie each Tuesday and various events throughout the year.

    The UFSMC is an elite branch of individuals who train to be called upon with all else fails and wage horrible war. This is how we see it, when war comes Starfleet isn’t up to the task of fighting it alone. Their crews are expertly trained and can hold space with the best of them but what about when you need to hold a planetary location, like AR-558? Or a capture a planetary capitol? Starfleet Security? Their job is to keep the peace and enforce the law, they are primarily police. In an emergency they can go above and beyond the regular call in fact there are some might have even missed their calling. The United Federation Starfleet Marine Corp is a branch of those who embrace this philosophy as well, while planting carrots in their spare time for the Commandant and who look beyond that beginning and end of each episode for our trek experience.

    Forces Command (FORCECOM) is charged with the administration of the units of the Corp as well as overseeing all detachments and marines in the Corp. All Marine OICs report to the FORCECOM Commanding Officer via the Monthly Status Report (MSR). The MSR that reaches the COFORCECOM starts from the Detachment and Task Force level. Each Detachment or Expeditionary Force OIC sends an MSR to their Ship CO and Division or Regiment OIC.

    Training and Doctrine Command (TRACOM) is charged with the development and update of all Marine Training Manuals, Classes and MOS Certifications. Under TRACOM are the Marine Branch Directors, experts in their fields that have volunteered to share that knowledge with their fellow marines. They each oversee a College in the UFS Marine Academy that contains all of the classes needed for the MOS Certifications of the Corps. TRACOM also offers its experience to all Chapters that need advice on developing a more authentic setting for their Marines.
