The investigation of stolen medical supplies leads the crew of the SS Athena to realize that Lan's condition might be more serious than first believed.

Captain's log, stardate 110208:

I received a troubling communications from Doctor Moonshadow a few moments ago. She arrived in sickbay earlier today to find that several medications and pieces of medical equipment had been stolen. She has asked that I make my way to sickbay as soon as possible as she has more to discuss with me.

Computer, end log.

Meeting Victoria in her sickbay, she quickly went over the list of medications and equipment stolen. More disturbing was her revelation that Lan had confronted her and had attempted to convince her to join him along with Lei, to what end we do not know. Victoria did not succumb to his attempt at brainwashing, perhaps due to her physiology, and Lan quickly departed. It was at this time that she had contacted me.

With Lan and Lei still on the run, whereabouts unknown, I advised UFS Security to be on the lookout for both of them and to arrest them when located.

By this time though, Lei had already spoken to several officers and had suggested that I was in fact the one who was brainwashed. I volunteered to go to Alexandria's medical facilities to have them disprove this. After some time, it was proven that I was in fact not the one brainwashed but by that time, both Lan and Lei had gotten away while a freighter suspected being involved with their disappearance was held at Athena.

With the freighter captain threatening to overload their engines, Athena released the vessel, which was promptly disabled when the Menelaus arrived. The vessel was towed back to Athena and its captain brought in for questioning.

I do not look forward to the interrogation of an Orion female.
