Captain's Log:

Stardate: 200304

Alert Status: Green

Somehow, we made it. The Veracruz made it to a class M planet with minutes to spare. We were forced to literally bring the ship into the planet's atmosphere , where we opened the ships bussard collectors, as well as all airlocks and shuttle bay doors to allow fresh oxygen to enter the ships air circulation system.

Given the level of emergency, none of the usual scans and tests could be performed. Engineering has advised we will need to literally dip into the atmosphere several more times before an emergency supply ship can arrive.

While the danger is not over, at this point, we are all just happy to still be alive. Dr McKay is taking all precautions until we are back on our own internal air filtration system.

Voice Recording:

We're in a foreign atmosphere and the Vulcans, except for Skot, are all getting sick with terrible symptoms. Aryela, Salek, and several other Vulcan crewmembers are now in Sickbay and Skot is healthy. I don't know why this atmosphere has gotten into the ship and made so many Vulcans sick and why Skot is not also sick....

As I have El-Aurian blood in me, I am sensitive to emotions and I am feeling all the anxiety from those who are currently sick.
