The Office of Computer Operations (CompOps in abbreviated form) is the coordinating authority for all UFS online representations, as well as the external communities. CompOps coordinates and structures all the information online and manages the (regular) updates to these communities. Hide the bacon.

Good Morning! Good Afternoon! Good Greggs to you all!

As you were aware, CompOps has changed from an email support system to a website support system and over the past couple of years we have been monitoring it along with feedback with ways to improve it as well as what constitutes as Support.

So we are pleased to bring another system we would like you to test out and provide feedback on this by using this thread.

We have teamed up with the UFS Academy Team, the Personnel Team and Discord Moderators (currently us as well) to bring to you to what we call Project One Stop.

What is Project One Stop?

We have created a Support System in the UFS Discord, as it was apparent there were a number of you who are having issues with the UFS Forums meaning using our Support site would be useless as that requires you going through the said Forums. Also UFS Discord would be using your own personal Discord account meaning you can login anytime, anywhere via the phone, tablet or desktop!

In that support system, you will have the option of requesting :

Academy Support - Questions relating to UFS Academy Learning Systems and/or the UFS Academy
Personnel Support - Service Jackets Updates, Personnel Assistance.
CompOps Support - All Account related issues and Discord Role Updates
Discord Moderator Assistance - For Moderator Assistance on any channel in the UFS Discord.

Please note that, just like the Web Support System we are using, all support requests through the new system will be answered within 48-72 hours (as we are all volunteers!) so please be patient while waiting for a response!

A member from that related team will be notified that you require assistance and will reply to your message/issue as soon as possible.

We hope this will help all members in UFS that there is one place of where you can find support and that you will continue to aid us with feedbacks of improving our systems as we trudge along!

Note: All current systems that are being used will still be in use alongside the test systems for now, so rest assured if you have bookmarked a form that you use frequently with one of the teams above. When we do migrate and solely use this new system after more improvements we will let you know!
