2018 may have a lot of comings and goings throughout each department, but suffice to say that our department have stuck through it, although a lot of regluing has to occur throughout the year.

There has been a lot fewer tickets handled over recent years but as this is a year in review ( we are still in January so it still counts! ) we have handled a grand total of 230 issues coming in from the UFS family.

Out of the 230 issues we have handled, we strived to work with outside teams and vendors to keep downtime at a minimum, which has been tough given outdated contacts from our emergency handbooks.

We have systems that are close to falling apart, if it was not for Sniper Schridde for helping keeping infrastructure at an all time high to keep whatever you love doing without interruptions.

We have spent the most of 2018 exploring with different systems to see how they would be a great fit for UFS as a whole. We may have been quiet but with the uniqueness that UFS comprises of, this has been a difficult challenge for us to work on.

A number of you have expressed interest to join our close-knitted team, during the time when we are too focused in our daily lives, or that we have assumed that we can handle our tasks effectively, we have put your email in a special folder, ready to be called upon when that time arises, and it may be soon.

Now 2019 shining brightly before us, I hope that we let our grievances behind in 2018 and look forward to working closer than ever in the year ahead.
